Hilda and Jennifer had the pleasure of attending the Irish Equine Reproduction Symposium last week, and what an inspiring two days it turned out to be. Hosted at the beautiful Tinnakilly House in Co. Wicklow, the event brought together vets, breeders, researchers, and industry professionals who share a deep passion for advancing equine reproductive health.

The symposium is always a highlight on the equine calendar, and this year was no exception. Across the two days, attendees explored a wide range of topics shaping the future of equine reproduction—from mare behaviour, welfare, and ethics to fertility and infertility investigations, early embryonic loss, hormonal management, surgical approaches, and real‑world case discussions. The newest Irish research was also showcased, offering valuable insights into emerging trends and evidence‑based practices that will influence breeding programmes in the years ahead.

For our team, it was a fantastic opportunity not only to learn but also to connect. Hilda and Jen enjoyed meeting so many dedicated professionals who care deeply about improving outcomes for mares, stallions, and foals. Conversations throughout the event highlighted the shared commitment across the industry to continually refine reproductive management and support overall equine wellbeing.

We were delighted to share information on our expanding range of equine products designed to support breeding performance, reproductive health, and general vitality. Engaging with vets and breeders face‑to‑face is always invaluable, and we truly appreciate everyone who stopped by for a chat. Your insights, questions, and experiences help shape the solutions we bring to the market.

A huge thank‑you to the Irish Equine Veterinary Association for hosting such a well organised and forward thinking event. It’s gatherings like this that keep the industry moving forward.

If you have any equine queries or would like to discuss products that support reproductive performance, Hilda is always happy to help.
