We’re delighted to share that Duggan Veterinary Group has been named one of four winners nationwide in Guaranteed Irish’s new community campaign, ‘Are You in The Guaranteed Irish Club?’ – and Holycross Ballycahill Camogie Club is €5,000 richer as a result.

The campaign invited Guaranteed Irish member businesses connected to a local GAA club, team or county to showcase the contribution they make to their communities, both on and off the pitch. Our entry, highlighting our longstanding support for Holycross Ballycahill, was selected as one of the four winning partnerships nationwide, alongside National Broadband Ireland (Raheens GAA, Co. Kildare), Ella & Jo (Ballyhaunis LGFA, Co. Mayo), and Briody Bedding (St. Brigid’s GAA, Co. Meath).
Together, the four winning clubs received a combined €20,000 in community investment, along with personalised jerseys for a junior team from each club. The prizes were presented at an exclusive photocall at Croke Park on Wednesday, 9th September – a brilliant day out for everyone involved, and a proud moment for us as a business rooted in community values.
Speaking at the event, Guaranteed Irish CEO Bríd O’Connell said the initiative recognises member businesses that go beyond their day-to-day operations to support the people and places around them, adding that this year’s campaign celebrates the central role GAA clubs play in Ireland’s sporting, social and cultural life.

.
The significance of this kind of community support is backed up by the numbers too. KPMG research published in 2025 estimates that Guaranteed Irish member businesses collectively contribute €59.3 million towards social value initiatives each year – a testament to just how deeply community commitment runs across the Guaranteed Irish network.
For us, supporting Holycross Ballycahill has never been about ticking a box – it’s part of who we are as a family business. Being recognised for that, alongside such a strong field of entries from businesses across the country, means a great deal.
Congratulations to all the winning businesses and clubs, and a huge thank you to Guaranteed Irish for continuing to champion the businesses that give so much back to their communities.
