We’re pleased to reaffirm our commitment to Tipperary GAA through two significant initiatives this year: sponsoring the upcoming Quid Game fundraising event and maintaining our involvement in the Four Pillar Partnership.
Sponsorship of the Tipperary GAA Quid Game
On Saturday, December 6th, at Our Lady’s Secondary School in Templemore, Tipperary GAA will host their major Quid Game event — a unique fundraiser combining live entertainment with community spirit. We are proud to be the title sponsor of this event.
Under this initiative:
-
Well-known participants will take part in the Quid Game challenge, and the winner will receive €10,000 to donate to their chosen club or charitable cause.
-
A live concert by Rebel Hearts will add to the evening’s atmosphere, drawing both local supporters and wider audiences.
-
Scoil Chormaic Special School in Cashel will benefit from a portion of the proceeds, underscoring the event’s focus on giving back to the community.
We believe this event embodies the spirit of sport, community, and generosity — and we’re delighted to play a role in making it a success.
Sustaining the Four Pillar Partnership
Alongside our event sponsorship, Duggan Veterinary Supplies continues to engage in the Four Pillar Partnership in Tipperary, which aligns closely with our vision for community integration and rural support.
Since its launch:
-
The pilot scheme includes nine GAA clubs and 17 veterinary practices across the region.
-
Clubs received financial backing and committed to promoting Duggan’s product branding (such as pitchside signage for Fatroseal) as part of their involvement.
-
Veterinary practices gain visibility in their communities and closer engagement with farmers through the connection to local clubs.
-
Farmers participating in the scheme benefit through preferential offers and support from local veterinary partners.
Our aim is to foster stronger, sustainable connections between sport, farming, and veterinary care in Tipperary. We see each pillar as essential:
-
GAA — the social and sporting lifeblood of local communities
-
Veterinary practices — providing essential animal health services
-
Farmers — the backbone of rural livelihoods
-
Duggan Veterinary Supplies — linking these pillars through support, supply, and shared purpose
What This Means for the Community
By combining both the Quid Game event and the Four Pillar Partnership, our support of Tipperary GAA goes beyond mere sponsorship. We are investing in:
-
Grassroots sport — bolstering club resources and engagement
-
Rural connectivity — bridging the agricultural and sports communities
-
Animal health — enabling farmers and vets to work more closely
-
Local pride and sustainability — reinforcing the bonds that make communities thrive
We look forward to the Quid Game in December and to building on the Four Pillar Partnership in the months ahead. To all the clubs, veterinary practices, and farmers already involved — thank you for your trust and collaboration.
