On May 24th and 25th, Viktorija, our Marketing Executive, attended and exhibited at The Titanic Vet Show, a non-clinical CPD and mental health charity fundraising event held at Titanic Belfast. This venue featured multiple suites, including the iconic Titanic Suite with its exact replica of the original RMS Titanic staircase. The event offered top-quality, industry-standard sessions focused on “Connecting and Thriving,” providing veterinary professionals with valuable insights and networking opportunities. Highlights included a Black Tie Gala Dinner on Friday evening and a visit to the newly refurbished Titanic Experience over the weekend.

The event’s proceeds were donated to ‘Vet Support,’ a voluntary mental health support service for veterinary professionals across the UK and Ireland. This service offers confidential assistance to anyone in the veterinary field, including vets, vet nurses, and workplace support staff. Delivered by specially trained vets and nurses, Vet Support provides help in various ways, such as managing overwhelm, anxiety, or stress, teaching calming techniques, and developing positive coping mechanisms. It also aids in transforming distress into actionable decisions, planning ways forward in challenging circumstances, setting achievable goals, enabling decision-making and self-development, and finding a healthy work-life balance. Additionally, Vet Support connects individuals with further support and advice as needed.

Viktorija’s participation at The Titanic Vet Show not only bolstered our presence in the veterinary community but also reinforced our commitment to supporting mental health awareness and professional development within the industry.
