Active Ingredient:

Vitamin E acetate 150.00 mg, Sodium selenite 1.67 mg

Excipients: Polyoxyl 35 Castor oil (Cremophor EL), Methylparaben E 218, Water for injections

 

Target Species:

Horses, cattle, sheep, goats, pigs

 

Indications for use:

FLATULEX FORTE is indicated for the prevention and treatment of pathological situations which are associated with deficiency of vitamin E and selenium, such as muscular dystrophy in lambs, kids, calves and pigs, dietary liver necrosis and dietary microangiopathy of the pig, congenital legs weakness in piglets (splay leg) and paralytic myoglobinuria in horses.

 

Administration route & amounts to be administered:

Administer intramuscularly or subcutaneously in a single dose.

Horses-Cattle: 7.5ml

Calves-Sheep-Goats: 2.0-3.5 ml

Pigs: 3.0 -7.5ml

Piglets-Lambs-Kids: 0.7-2.0ml

In severe cases, therapy can be repeated after 6-7 days.

It can also be administered preventively,every 3 months.

 

Withdrawal periods:

Meat: 28 days

Milk: 0 days
