The fairways are set, the prizes are massive, and the competition is ready to tee off at Thurles Golf Club as the highly anticipated Gosbi Summer Golf Series launches this week. Beginning Thursday, May 21st, golfers will have the opportunity to compete every week in an exciting Open Singles series packed with fantastic weekly prizes and an incredible end-of-series leaderboard competition.
Sponsored by Gosbi, this summer-long series adds an extra layer of excitement to the club’s popular weekly competitions. Alongside the usual Thursday prizes, players will accumulate points throughout the series, giving everyone the chance to climb the leaderboard and compete for some premium Callaway golf clubs.
The points system rewards both performance and consistency. Weekly winners will earn 10 points, second place receives 7 points, third place earns 5 points, and fourth place collects 3 points. In addition, every golfer who plays each week will receive 1 participation point – meaning the more you play, the better your chances of finishing among the top prize winners.
The prizes on offer are sure to catch the eye of every golfer. First place overall will take home a Callaway Quantum Max Driver and 3 Wood, while second place wins a Callaway Quantum Max Driver. Third place receives a Callaway Quantum Max 3 Wood, and fourth place secures a Callaway Quantum Max Rescue club.
