Role Summary

As the UK Marketing Manager, you will develop and execute strategic marketing initiatives tailored to the UK market, aligning closely with Duggan Veterinary Supplies’ overarching business goals. You will play a critical role in enhancing brand awareness, driving product adoption, and building meaningful connections with veterinarians, wholesalers, corporates, and other key stakeholders across the UK.This position offers an exciting opportunity for a results-driven marketer with strong strategic vision, and a passion for the veterinary and animal health sectors.

 

Key Functions and Activities

  • Strategic Marketing Planning:
    • Develop and implement a UK-specific marketing strategy that aligns with the company’s objectives and growth ambitions.
    • Identify key market trends, opportunities, and challenges to inform decision-making.
  • Campaign Development and Execution:
    • Lead the creation and delivery of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, print, and events, to promote products and services effectively.
    • Collaborate with the product and sales teams to create targeted campaigns for product launches and promotions.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Build and maintain relationships with key UK customers, veterinary professionals, and wholesalers.
    • Act as a brand ambassador, representing Duggan Veterinary Supplies at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
  • Content Creation and Management:
    • Oversee the development of compelling marketing content, including brochures, newsletters, email campaigns, and social media posts.
    • Ensure all materials are tailored to the UK market and maintain consistency with the Duggan brand.
  • Performance Analysis:
    • Monitor, measure, and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns using key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Use insights from data analysis to refine strategies and improve campaign outcomes.
  • Team Collaboration and Leadership:
    • Work closely with the larger marketing team to ensure brand alignment across both UK and Ireland.
    • Manage relationships with UK sales team and strive to exceed expectations.

 

Person Specification

  • Qualifications and Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
    • Experience in a marketing role with proven experience in the veterinary, pharmaceutical, or animal health sectors highly desirable.
    • Strong track record of designing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Skills:
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret analytics, make informed decisions and report on same.
    • Strong project management and organisational abilities.
    • Creative thinking with a proactive and problem-solving approach.
