As we are heading into the busy season of courses in Duggan Veterinary, there is a wide range
of topics available this Autumn. Our large animal onsite courses launched earlier this year and we
will continue to offer a variety of topics to Vets and Nurses in Ireland.
This October, we are delighted to be hosting a new Equine event onsite in Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
This will be a practical day with live animals and focus on lameness examinations and radiography
in Equine medicine with Warren Schofield. This will be followed by Module 1 and 2 in Equine
lameness where we will focus on nerve blocks and surgery of the fore and hindlimb in horses.
Also launching this September and October are our year long vet and nursing programmes. These courses are aimed at newly graduated professionals but will also benefit those that have taken time away from clinical practice and are returning to work. These comprehensive offerings will cover a variety of
topics including consulting, surgery, medical nursing and veterinary procedures, dentistry and
diagnostic imaging.
We have just wrapped up our first year of our graduate programme and were delighted to see the
delegates grow in confidence throughout the year and really engage with our speakers on the course
days.
We look forward to welcoming this year’s groups to Duggan Veterinary Supplies and supporting
them through their first year of their veterinary careers and those who are returning to
clinical practice.
Duggan Veterinary was delighted to sponsor a recent bandaging talk delivered by Georgie
Hollis from the Bandaging Angels at the IVNA Conference in the Silver Springs Hotel, Cork.
Delivered to a captive audience and a full house, our nurses got to grips with the bandaging
consumables that Duggan Veterinary have to offer.
The Autumn / Winter schedule at Duggan Veterinary will see all our favourite speakers back
onsite delivering world-class CPD for our Irish Vets and Nurses including Soft tissue surgery,
Orthopaedics, Eye surgery, Dentistry, Diagnostic Imaging, and much more! Don’t forget to sign
up to our newsletter and look at our CPD website for more information at cpd.dugganvet.ie.
