Radiographic Reference Ball
SKU:
Purpose:
The Radiographic Reference Ball is 25mm diameter and is attached to a stainless steal base by a flexible neck, that allows the ball to be placed at the same level above the plate as the area of interest. The base is covered with rubber what secure the table from being scratched.
When using the radiograph for templating implants eg. a total hip replacement, it is very important to make accurate measurements. As taking radiographs where the area of interest is not close to the plate can create some challenges in scaling, the reference ball will make the measuring process easier/more accurate.
With a reference marker, planning orthopedic procedures, where it is necessary to select individual implants or saws down to the millimeter, is not a problem.
